Guajillo Grill Mexican Restaurant in Arlington

Guajillo Mexican Restaurant is located on Wilson Boulevard in the Courthouse area of Arlington. It's in a strip mall of small businesses that's hard to browse by car, so is often overlooked by folks who don't live in the area.

The family-owned restaurant is popular for authentic and delicious Mexican food, great sangria, margaritas, and mojitos (with even a virgin mojito on the menu), and good service in a cozy, dim atmosphere. I definitely recommend stopping in for a bite -- you won't be disappointed.

And the sangria, mojoitos and margaritas are available by the carafe! The bar is pretty lively, but smallish. A great date or happy hour spot!
Did I mention that they have rockin chimichangas?? Since Eric and I can't always pronounce the name, we often refer to it as "the chimichanga place".
OK, I'm rambling now. But the chimichanga place rocks.
Pardon my brevity! (Wow, that sounded a little aristocratic.) Yes, I love this place, even if the name is difficult to pronounce. (wah-HEE-jo I think.)
yeah, wah-HEE-jo if you pronounce the "j" as a "y". I noticed that the url is the phoenetic spelling: www.waheeyo.com
You can also get to the website by going to www.guajillogrill.com Late breaking news the owners are opening a new resturant in DC called Casa Oaxaca on 18th Street.
I just ate at the new restaurant and it was really good. Especially considering that they have not been open for a month yet. You had better get there quick before you have to start waiting in line like Laureal Plaza, I won't be going there again. The food, service, staff, and atmosphere is much better.
Great Job!
