March for Peace, January 27 on the National Mall

(More photos)
The January 27 March for Peace and Justice demonstration took place this past Saturday in DC. The turnout was impressive and the message was clear: the immediate withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq. Protesters held the Bush Administration accountable for misleading us into war, then mismanaging the war's execution.

Looks like a fun protest! Great pics!
Hey Jim and Christian,
Chistian- thanks for the comment.
I saw some of the protests last weekend around Arlington Cemetary. A big group got on the metro and started singing "This little light of mine." Some people replaced the lyrics, saying "This little light of mine, we're gonna get a fine."
I had a good time on Saturday. I hope you are feeling better.
I will have a get together at my new place soon, maybe Saturday.
Wow what a visual!
I love the blog, please keep the pictures coming!
